NC Armed Security officer Training

Service Description

3 Days Wednesday-Friday **When you book this class it will only show 8 hours but the course is 3 days** This does not include fingerprints.
Official firearms training for NC PPSB certification.
Mandatory Requirements:
– Current Unarmed Security Officer training completion prior to beginning Armed training
– Must be at least 21 years old –
United States citizen or resident alien
– No felony convictions or misdemeanors associated with violence (which includes domestic), drugs (use or sale), theft or fraud in the last 5 years.
– Good moral character
Qualifying skills/knowledge covered in Unarmed Security Officer training:
– Legal Limitations of Security Officer Power and Firearm Usage/Applicable Statutes
– Handgun Safety
– Handgun Operation and Maintenance
– Handgun Fundamentals
– Night Firing
– NO EQUIPMENT IS PROVIDED!
We DO NOT provide gear and duty gear is required in class no later than when you arrive Thursday morning.
– RANGE EXPENSES ARE NOT INCLUDED! (e.g. range time, gun rental, targets, ammo) Required Equipment: Equipment that will be used ON DUTY
– Handheld Flashlight
– Duty Holster (Minimum Level Two)
– Duty Belt
– Magazine Pouches
NO Level one holsters. NO IWB holsters.
If using your own ammunition, bring a minimum of 250 up to a maximum of 600 rounds or purchase at range before class.
If using a semi-automatic, bring a minimum of 2 magazines
