Our NC Armed Security Officer Training is a 24-hour $250 Salisbury Office, 3-day course designed to meet the PPSB’s mandatory requirements for armed officers in North Carolina. You’ll split time between the classroom and the shooting range, where you’ll train in firearm safety, marksmanship, use-of-force laws, and tactical response. This training is reserved for professionals ready to take on the responsibility of armed security with integrity, skill, and confidence.

3 Days / 24 Hours of Official NC PPSB Certified Instruction
Classroom Instruction + Mandatory Range Qualification
Legal Limitations of Armed Security Officer Power
Firearm Use of Force Laws & Applicable Statutes
Firearm Safety, Maintenance & Fundamentals
Live Range Drills, Night Firing, and Tactical Scenarios
No equipment provided — duty gear required by Day 2
Range expenses (ammo, rental, targets) are not included

Mandatory Prerequisites:

Must be at least 21 years old
Completion of NC Unarmed Security Officer Training
U.S. Citizen or Resident Alien
No felonies or disqualifying misdemeanours in the past 5 years
Good moral character
