
Shaneen Elder – CEO
Shaneen Elder is the proud proprietor of Sentinel Group Six, a security company founded by her late father, McCutcheon Marshall, and now owned by her family. Shaneen, who was mentored by her father from a young age, brought an arsenal of knowledge and passion for the security industry to the helm in 2015. With a degree in business, she blends her academic achievements with hands-on experience obtained during her time as a civil clerk in her early years and serving at the Circuit Court of Maryland.

Colonel Elder II – COO
Colonel Elder II is the Chief Director of Security and Operations at Sentinel Group Six. Under the guidance of McCutcheon Marshall, the company founder, his journey in the security sector began as an unarmed officer. The Colonel’s leadership and operational skills were refined as he rapidly advanced through the ranks, becoming a Site Supervisor and then an Area Manager, through hard work and dedication.
In addition to his executive position, Colonel Elder is a certified Unarmed Officer Instructor and a CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) Trainer for North Carolina. In addition, he is acknowledged as an Active Shooter Preparedness Instructor and an NRA Basic Pistol Firearms Trainer. He possesses extensive knowledge and experience in mixed martial arts and hand-to-hand combat.

Rick Guthrie Sr. – SVP of Operations
Rick Guthrie – Senior Vice President of Operations, the Operations Manager for Sentinel Group Six Security, has more than two decades of experience in law enforcement. Rick, a retired Chief of Police, has a notable background that includes Participating in Narcotics and K9 Task force Narcotics Task Force, where he contributed to statewide campaigns to combat drug-related offences. He has acquired a wealth of knowledge in areas such as narcotics, firearms, canine operations, and investigations throughout his law enforcement career. He is also a North Carolina-certified armed and unarmed security officer instructor.
